Ever Green Cafe

Ever Green Cafe is tucked away inside Raj Guest House in Manali. Following the signs for Vpo Manali in the Teh Manali area will eventually lead you to us. Compared to the main mall road where all the tourists go, this is a quiet spot. We are at 175131, and since we are part of the guest house, many people we see are just staying for a few nights. The mountain air here is nice, though it gets quite cold in the winter months. Usually, the kettle is going and some simple food is ready for whoever walks in. It isn't a big, fancy restaurant with a huge menu at all. We just keep things simple with items we can make easily in our kitchen. Sometimes we sit and talk with the guests about the weather or the mountain roads. Life moves a bit slower up here than it does in the cities. Cleaning the tables and making sure the guest house area stays tidy are our regular chores. Some people find us by accident while walking around the village, and others have been coming back to Raj Guest House for years. Advertising is not something we really do. We just stay open and wait for people to come in. It’s a very basic way of living and working, but it suits us well enough here in Manali. Sometimes the guest house is full and we are running around quite a bit, but that is part of the job here.
