Sri Foods

Our place is at Plot No.77-A in the Sipcot Industrial Complex, Phase-I. It is a large area with a lot of other factories around us. Sri Foods is where we handle a lot of the processing and packing of food items. The air around here usually smells like whatever we are working on that day, which isn't always a bad thing. We have a lot of stainless steel equipment and people wearing hairnets walking around. It’s a very practical environment. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors because we are mostly focused on the production floor. The floors are kept scrubbed down, and there's always the sound of machinery humming in the background. Working in an industrial complex means we are a bit far from the main city shops, so most of us bring our lunch and eat in the small break room out back. We started small and just kept adding a bit more equipment as we needed it. There are no big speeches about our values or anything like that here. We just show up, make sure the machines are running right, and ensure the food is packed up properly for the distributors. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet. Some days the heat in the facility is a bit much, but we get through it together as a team.
