You’ll find Saravana Exports & Imports at No. 9 on II Main Road in CIT Colony. This part of Mylapore is actually quite nice and relatively quiet compared to the main roads. Our office is a regular house that we converted for business use. It has a small garden in the front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds grow fast. We handle both exports and imports from this location. Most of our work involves a lot of coordinating with different people via phone or email. We spend time at our desks or sometimes out meeting folks who bring us goods. Mylapore is a great area with a lot of history, and we like being part of it. The street is lined with trees, which makes it a bit cooler in the afternoon when the sun is out. We don’t have any flashy branding or a reception desk. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will be there at a desk. We’ve been doing this for a few years and have a good rhythm. It’s mostly about managing the logistics and the customs paperwork. It’s a lot of detail work that doesn't sound very exciting to most people, but it’s what we do. Saravana Exports & Imports is just a small team of us working together. If you’re walking through CIT Colony, look for number 9 on the second main road. It's a peaceful spot to get our work done without too much trouble from the outside.
