Jomanns Exim Pvt Ltd is based out of the Bkpmm Estate in Krishnagiri. We are right across from the K Theatre, which is a big landmark around here. If you know that area in Tamil Nadu, you know it stays pretty busy with people going to the movies and trucks moving in and out of the industrial estate. Our office handles import and export stuff, so there is always a lot of paperwork regarding shipments and customs. The office is usually a bit of a mess with files and samples of things we are moving. We have a few old computers and a phone that never seems to stop ringing. The heat in Krishnagiri can be something else, so we keep the windows shut and the AC running when it’s working. The estate itself is full of other businesses, so there is a lot of coming and going. We see a lot of delivery drivers and agents throughout the day. It’s a lot of tracking where things are and making sure the boxes get to the right place. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who know how the system works. Sometimes we go over to the theater area to get some food during our break. It’s a fast-paced environment but we’ve been doing it long enough that we don't get too stressed out anymore. We just keep the cargo moving and handle the logs as they come.
