Gopi Engineering Works

Down on M.C. Road, you’ll find our shop at number 2/73. It’s a typical engineering setup where we spend most of our time dealing with iron, steel, and whatever mechanical problems people bring us. The shop floor is usually covered in a bit of metal shavings and oil, which is pretty standard for the kind of work we do. We’ve been at this for some time now, so we don't really overthink the process. When a job comes in, we look at the specs and get the machines started. Some days are slower than others, giving us time to clean the tools or reorganize the racks, but usually, there’s enough to keep us busy until dark. It’s not a large place, but we’ve managed to fit everything we need inside these walls. The traffic on M.C. Road can get loud, but you get used to it after the first week. We don’t bother with fancy uniforms or big signs. Most of our regulars know where we are and what we can do. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it's a small repair or making a batch of parts for someone’s project. It’s a gritty job, and we go home pretty tired most nights. But there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a finished piece of metalwork sitting on the bench after a long afternoon of grinding and welding. It’s just us doing what we know how to do best.
