Ss Engineering Industries

Our workshop is over at 103/A in the Rajeshwari Layout, which is out in Hosur. If you’ve been to this part of Hosur, you know it’s mostly industrial, so there’s always the sound of machines or welding going on nearby. Ss Engineering Industries isn’t a massive factory, but we have enough space for our lathes and the heavy tools we use every day. The layout is a bit confusing if you’re coming here for the first time, but once you find 103/A, you’ll see our big metal gate. It’s usually open during the day so the air can circulate, otherwise, it gets way too hot inside with all the equipment running. There is usually a bit of grease on the floor and some metal shavings in the corners, no matter how much we sweep. We aren't trying to win any beauty contests with the shop. We just focus on getting the parts made correctly. My uncle started the business, and I took over most of the management a few years back. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’ll probably just find me or one of the guys covered in a bit of dust. We have a small desk in the corner for the bills and the phone, but most of the time we are out on the floor. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday.
