Sri Lakshmi Thirupathamma Thalli Farmer Producer Company Limited is quite a long name, but we are just a local group based at 3-54/4, Bandi Palem. This is in Chillakallu, which falls under the Jaggaiahpeta Mandal in the Krishna District. Being out here in Krishna District means we are right in the middle of everything. Our office in Bandi Palem is simple. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs. Most of the time, we are out talking to the farmers in Chillakallu or checking on the crops. Being a producer company means we are all in this together. We handle the selling and the buying so that the individual farmers don't have to worry so much. It is hard work, and the days are long. Jaggaiahpeta Mandal is a busy area for farming, so there is always someone coming by the office with a question or a problem. We try to help out where we can. We have been at 3-54/4 for some time now. People around here know us. We don't use big corporate language because that’s not who we are. We are just people from the village working for the village. Sometimes we make mistakes, but we fix them and keep going. It is just a regular life here in Chillakallu, and we are glad to be part of it. We just keep doing what we know best and stay busy at the office.
