Sobuj Samaneya Farmers Producer Company Limited is located in Vill- Chowhata. You can find us c/o Bijoy Krishna Barui. The post office is also Chowhata and we are under the Haroa police station. This is a very local effort. We aren't some big city firm. Most of us have lived in Chowhata our whole lives. We use Bijoy’s place as our main point of contact. It’s a lot easier that way than trying to build some office we don't really need. We spend our time on the farms, so an office would just sit empty anyway. Haroa is the main area nearby, but we stay mostly in the village. It is a quiet life, focused on what we can grow and how we can help each other. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment or a website. We just talk face to face and handle things as they come up. If there’s a problem with the crops, we meet up at the village spot and talk it through. It’s a community thing more than anything else. We chose the name Sobuj Samaneya because it felt right for what we are doing here in the fields of Chowhata. It’s just plain work and staying together as a group. Sometimes we have a lot of paperwork to deal with, but we get through it. It is just part of being a real company. We are just happy to be working on our own terms here.
