Saraiyannanhu Farmer Producer Company Limited operates out of Sarriya Nanhu. Krishna Pratap Singh is the person we go to when we need to get things sorted. It’s a local setup for the farmers in our village. We don't have a big shiny office or a lot of staff. It’s mostly just us, the people who grow the food, trying to handle the business side of things ourselves. It’s a learning process, honestly. We spend a lot of time talking about the water and the pests. Krishna Pratap helps keep the records together at his place. We started this because we wanted to have a better way to sell what we grow. It’s not fancy and we don't use big words to describe it. It is just a group of neighbors working together. You can find us in Sarriya Nanhu if you ask around. Most people know where we are. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just talk to each other and figure out what needs to be done next. The days are long, especially when the weather is hot, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have any grand missions, just the daily work of keeping the farm going. We appreciate the simple life here and try to make the most of what we have. It’s just how we live day to day in the village and we are fine with that.
