Sahajram Agro Producer Company Limited

Sahajram Agro Producer Company Limited is based out of a house in Majhigawan, Mehmoodabad. We use part of Krishna Pratap Singh’s place to run our operations. It is a real rural setting, far away from the big glass buildings of the cities. Out here, life revolves around the farming seasons. We started this company because we wanted to bring the local farmers together so we could have a bit more say in how our produce is handled. It is a slow process, and we are learning as we go. The house is a typical home in the village, and we often sit on the porch to discuss the latest news about seeds or the weather. There is no air conditioning or fancy furniture, just some chairs and our records. We spend most of our time walking through the fields in Majhigawan and talking to the families who have been farming here for decades. We deal with whatever crops are in season, mostly grains and vegetables that grow well in this soil. It is a lot of hard work, and sometimes we wonder if we are making progress, but then we see a good harvest and it feels worth it. We are just a group of local people trying to make a living and help our neighbors do the same without any big fuss.
