Prasad Bricks

Prasad Bricks is located over at 8, Patamata. It’s a very familiar spot for anyone who has lived in this neighborhood for a while. We have been making bricks here for many years, and that big pile of red clay in the corner never seems to get any smaller no matter how many bricks we crank out. Patamata is a busy area with a lot of traffic, so there’s always something going on right outside our gates. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world or anything like that. We just want to make sure the bricks we put out are solid and won't fall apart the moment the weather gets bad. It’s a lot of sweating under the hot sun and checking on the kiln fires late into the night. My father was the one who started this whole thing, and we just kept it going because it’s the trade we know. We don’t have any big marketing plans or fancy posters. People usually find us because a neighbor or a cousin told them we were here. The yard is usually full of smoke and the loud sound of trucks coming and going at all hours. It’s not a pretty place to look at, but it’s a real working place. We deal with all sorts of customers, from the big builders to someone just needing a few bricks to fix their front steps.
