Police Department

Our location is at Door Number 2 57 in Veeranki Village. We are part of the Pamidimukkala Mandal in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh, zip code 521250. This is a rural area, so the Police Department office here is surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery. It’s a small village setup, which means everyone knows everyone else. The office itself is a plain building that’s been around for quite a while. We don't have high-tech gadgets or a modern design. It’s just a place where we sit and handle the local matters that come up in the village and the surrounding mandal. Most of our day involves talking to the villagers and sorting out small issues before they become big ones. It’s quiet most of the time, except for the birds and the occasional tractor passing by. We have a few benches for people to sit on while they wait to talk to us. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some old ceiling fans that keep the air moving. It feels very connected to the land here. We aren't a big city precinct with hundreds of officers. It’s just a few of us making sure things stay peaceful in Veeranki. It’s honest work and we do it in a very straightforward way every single day. We usually close up as the sun starts to go down.
