New Dolphin Family Restaurant is sitting right on Gandhi Nagar main road, specifically at Door No 26-12-72. Most people know where we are because we are directly opposite the Sailaja Theatre. It’s a busy part of Vijayawada, so there is always something going on outside our doors. We set this place up to give families a spot to sit down and eat without too much fuss. The restaurant isn't decorated with anything expensive. It’s just tables, chairs, and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till night. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. They know the menu inside out. We don't try to be a high-end place. It’s just a neighborhood restaurant where the food is the main thing. People coming out of the cinema often drop in, so it gets quite loud and lively in the evenings. We do our own shopping for the kitchen every day at the local markets. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the Gandhi Nagar crowd, but we like being in this part of town. The address is easy to find if you are in the area. We just focus on the daily chores of running a kitchen and making sure the floor is clean. It’s a regular family business, nothing more and nothing less. We’ve been here for years and plan to stay right here across from the theater.
