Meghamala Bar & Restaurant

You have to go all the way up to the 6th floor of Hotel Mamata on Eluru Road to find where we are. Meghamala Bar & Restaurant is a bit of a climb if the lift is being slow that day. Being up this high gives us a nice break from all the noise and traffic on the street down below in Vijayawada. We have some big windows that look out over the city, which is actually quite nice when the sun starts to go down. The place has been here for a long time. We have old wooden tables and some posters on the walls that have been there for years. It feels like the kind of place where you can just sit down and not have to worry about anything for an hour or two. We serve a lot of people who work in the different offices nearby. They come in after their long shifts to have a drink and some snacks before heading home. The kitchen is fairly small, but the guys back there really know what they are doing with the food. We don’t have a website or any fancy advertisements. People just know we are here on the 6th floor. Sometimes the lift stops working and we have to apologize to everyone, but that is just life in an older building. We just keep the beer cold.
