We are located right in Lefunga Bazar, specifically at Bipin Debbarma’s place. If you know the bazar, you know where to find us. Lefunga Farmers Producer Company Limited is made up of us farmers from this area. Most of us have been working these plots since we were kids, just like our fathers did before us. We decided to form this company because we were tired of getting the short end of the stick when it came to selling our harvests. Now we work together. It is a simple setup. We do not have a big fancy sign or anything, just a place to meet and talk. The bazar is always loud and full of life, which suits us just fine. We deal with all sorts of local crops. Some days the rain is too much and the roads get muddy, but we still make it to the bazar to do our work. We talk about how to get better yields without using too many expensive chemicals. It is a lot of sharing advice over tea. We are not businessmen in suits. We are the guys you see with mud on our boots. We just wanted a way to make sure we could keep our farms going without losing money every year. It is about looking out for each other. When one of us has a bad year, the rest of us try to help out. That is the whole point of why we started this company in the first place.
