Lecturer

I go by J Amrutha Mani Prabha, and I’m the daughter of J P Anand. We live at Door Number 11-138D2 in Medar Bazar, which is in Gudivada. That’s in the Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh. I’ve been working as a lecturer, which keeps me pretty occupied most days of the week. Gudivada is a decent place to live, and Medar Bazar is right in the heart of things. My house is often full of the sounds of the neighborhood. I have a small space where I keep all my teaching materials and books. It’s a lot of work to keep everything organized, especially when the exam seasons roll around and the papers pile up. I usually spend my mornings at the college and then come back home to help out with things here. The life of a lecturer in a place like this is steady and predictable. You get to know a lot of families because their kids come through your classes year after year. It’s a nice feeling when someone recognizes you on the street and says hello. I don’t have any big ambitions other than doing my job well and making sure my students understand the material I'm teaching. The commute isn’t too bad since everything is relatively close in Gudivada. I’ve grown up here, so the streets and the people are all very familiar to me. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living. I just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized.
