Our office is located at 26 25 11 Durgi Vari Street in the Gandhinagar area of Vijayawada. It’s a pretty central spot, so people from all over the city end up passing by here at some point. Working for Kotak Life Insurance in this part of Andhra Pradesh keeps us quite busy because there is always someone coming in with a question about their premium or a new policy they heard about. The street can get a little crowded with scooters and cycles, but that’s just how things are in Gandhinagar. Inside our doors, it’s mostly just us at our desks, surrounded by folders and computer screens. We don’t go for any of that corporate talk you see on TV. We just explain things as they are. If a policy doesn’t make sense, we try to go over it again until it does. The humidity in Vijayawada can be a bit much some days, so we’re thankful for the fans in the office.
