Wood Art

You can find Wood Art over at 79, near the Premier Bus Stop in Kallai. It is a pretty well-known spot because the bus stop is right there, so there is always a crowd of people waiting around. We have been working with wood in this shop for a long time. It gets a bit messy with the sawdust and all, but we don't mind. The smell of cut wood is always in the air here. We are not a giant factory, just a local shop where we get things done by hand mostly. Kallai has a bit of a history with this kind of work, so it feels right being here. People often pop their heads in while they are waiting for their bus. We have a lot of offcuts and pieces lying around, and it can look a bit cluttered to someone else, but we know where everything is. Our space at number 79 isn't huge, but it is enough for the benches and the tools we use every day. We don't do much advertising; people just see the sign when they pass by the bus stop. It is a simple life, working with our hands and making things that people need. Sometimes we sit outside for a bit when it gets too hot inside the workshop. It is just a small business trying to keep the tradition going in Kallai.
