Karinthalam Granites Private Limited

Up here in Maruthonkara, things move a bit differently than they do in the city. Our place, Karinthalam Granites Private Limited, is located at Thattakath. It’s a rugged sort of area, which makes sense for what we do. Working with granite means you’re always dealing with the elements. We get a lot of rain in this part of Kozhikode, and that changes how we have to work some weeks. The quarrying and the moving of stones is just the way we’ve always done it. It’s a lot of noise and heavy machinery, but you get used to it after a few days on the job. We don’t have a flashy storefront or anything like that. People usually find us because they live nearby or heard about the site from someone else in the village. It’s a small team here, mostly local guys who live just down the road. We keep the gates open and the engines running. There is always a pile of stone that needs sorting or a truck waiting to be filled up. It’s honest work, even if it leaves you tired at the end of the shift. We just focus on getting the tasks done and keeping the site safe for everyone. There isn't much more to the story than that. We’ve been at this for a while and plan to stay as long as there is stone to move.
