We are located in Maruthonkara, a part of Kozhikode that’s a bit more inland. Our company is Karattu Granites Private Limited. We’ve been operating out of Thattakath for a good while now. It’s a practical setup we have here. We deal with granite, mostly for local construction and small builders in the 673513 area. It’s the kind of business where you know your customers by their first names. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us, the stone, and the trucks. Sometimes the weather in Kerala makes the work difficult, especially during the monsoon when everything gets slippery and muddy. But we manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be some huge multinational. We just want to supply good granite to the people around here. The yard is usually full of activity, with loads coming in and going out throughout the day. It can get pretty loud with the machinery, but that’s just how it goes in this industry.
