First Line Engineers And Builders is based over at 64, Poovattuparamba, 2nd Street. We've been here for a while now. Most days are spent either on-site or at the office dealing with blueprints and various building materials. It's busy work but someone has to do it. We started out small and stayed that way mostly because we like knowing everyone who walks through the door. If you head down 2nd street you'll find us pretty easily. We handle the building stuff and the engineering side of things too. It is not fancy. The office is just a place where we keep our tools and papers. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it's quiet enough to actually get some drawing done. We've seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our spot at number 64. Being local means we know the ground here and how the weather affects the construction work. People stop by to ask about extensions or just to see how a project is going. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just us doing the work every day. Usually, someone is around if you need to talk about a project or a repair. We just keep our heads down and get the building done. It’s practical work for practical people. That's really all there is to it. We're just neighbors working in the same area we live in.
