Tasteful Foods is located in Kanjirappally, specifically in Building No. 6/430. We’re right near the Bishop House, which is a big landmark around here, so people rarely get lost trying to find us. The Kottarathil Building is where we spend most of our daylight hours. It’s a solid building, though it stays quite cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We handle various food items here. It’s not a very complicated setup. We have our storage and a small area where we handle the billing and phone calls. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. Kanjirappally is a good place to be, it feels like a real community. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often grab lunch at the small place down the road. Our days are filled with checking quality and talking to transporters. It’s not always smooth sailing; sometimes a machine breaks or a delivery is late, but we just deal with it as it comes. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just local people working in the food industry, trying to make sure the products we send out are what they should be. It’s a decent living and we like the people we work with every day.
