Sark Spice Products Pvt. Ltd. is situated on Pallithanathu Mathaichan Road in the Eara area. This is where we spend our time processing and packing different kinds of spices. If you walk down the road, you can usually tell where we are because of the sharp smell of chili or turmeric in the air. It is not a very large factory, just a practical building where we have our grinders and packing tables set up. The work is quite manual, and we spend most of our shift moving heavy sacks of raw spices and making sure the machines are fed. It gets very dusty inside, and we all have to wear masks so we don't end up sneezing all day long. The road outside isn't very busy, but we do have trucks coming in every now and then to pick up the finished packets. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers. It is just a local team of people who know how to handle the spice trade. The equipment is older and requires a lot of maintenance to keep it going. We don't have a fancy marketing department or a shiny office. It is just a place where we do hard work, get our hands dirty, and make sure the spices are ground to the right consistency before they go out. It's a busy, noisy, and very fragrant way to spend the day.
