Sakthi Masala Pvt Ltd is based at No. 6 in Mamarathupalayam. This is where we handle a lot of our daily business. It’s not a shiny corporate headquarters. It’s a place where work actually happens. Mamarathupalayam is a quiet area, which is good for us. We have our facilities here and a team that has been with us for a long time. Many of the people working here live just a short walk away. It feels like a big family most of the time. We don't have fancy slogans or big mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the spices. The air around here usually smells like turmeric or chili, depending on what we are processing that day. It’s a strong smell, but we’ve grown to love it. We started small and just kept going. We don't try to act like a giant corporation even though we’ve grown. We still prefer the simple way of doing things. Our office is functional and nothing more. We use heavy-duty bags and old-fashioned scales for some things. It’s just the way it’s always been done. We don't feel the need to change just for the sake of looking modern. We value the time we spend here. Every day is about getting the batches right. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment and that’s why we like it so much.
