Noel Thomas Photography

I’m Noel Thomas, and I do photography work from my place near Pikasha in Kottayam. It’s a small operation, mostly just me and my cameras. I’ve been living in this part of Kottayam for a long time, so I know the area pretty well. My workspace is just a room filled with tripods, lenses, and a desk where I spend way too many hours editing photos. It’s not a big studio with fancy lights and a makeup room. If I need to take portraits, we usually find a nice spot outside or I go to the client’s house. I spend a lot of my time traveling around to different events, weddings, or just taking pictures of buildings and people. The humidity here can be a real pain for the gear, so I’m always cleaning lenses and making sure nothing gets moldy. I don't have a secretary or a fancy booking system. People just call me up or send a message, and we figure out a time. Sometimes I’m working late into the night trying to get the color right on a batch of photos, and other times I’m out in the sun all day. It’s a bit of a grind, but I like being my own boss. I don’t use any of those big marketing phrases to describe what I do. I just take pictures, try to make them look decent, and hand them over to the people who asked for them. It’s simple work and I enjoy the process.
