Mukkada Timbers Packers

Mukkada Timbers Packers operates out of the Mukkada Buildings. As the name suggests, we work mostly with wood and packing materials. It’s a dusty kind of job, and there is always the smell of sawdust in the air. We spend our days cutting timber and making crates or boxes for people who need to ship things safely. The building we’re in is an old one, but it serves us well for this kind of heavy work. We have a few big saws and a lot of hammers going all day. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting. Most people who come by are truck drivers or workers from other companies needing packing supplies. We don't have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy letters. We just focus on making sure the wood is cut right and the crates are strong enough to hold whatever is going inside them. Sometimes we get really big orders that take up all our floor space, and other times it’s just small jobs for individuals. We’ve been at Mukkada Buildings for years, and we know our way around the timber business. It’s physical work that keeps us tired, but it’s what we know how to do. We don't make things sound better than they are; we just build what is needed and move on to the next pile of wood. It is hard work but it is honest.
