Infosys Bpo

This Infosys Bpo office is located in Kanjirapally, in the Kottayam district of Kerala. We are specifically at Kondooparampil H in the Mannarkayam area. It is a world away from the busy streets of Bangalore. Everything is very green here, and when the monsoon hits, it really pours down on us. The building is more like a house that has been adapted for work, which gives it a much more relaxed and local feel. We do not have the same rush and noise you find in the big cities. People here mostly speak Malayalam, and the pace of life is just a bit slower, though the work keeps us plenty busy. Most of the staff are locals from the surrounding villages. We have our tea breaks out on the porch when the weather is nice. It is a quiet neighborhood, mostly residential with lots of trees and small family shops nearby. Inside, we have our computers and internet links set up to stay connected. It is a bit of a unique spot for a BPO, but it works out well for us. We do not have a canteen, so everyone usually brings their own tiffin from home and we eat together in the back area. It feels more like a small community than a big corporation. We just focus on our tasks and enjoy the quiet surroundings while we do it. It is a good change of pace for anyone used to the city.
