Beeta Rubbers

Beeta Rubbers is located out in Vazhoor, near the post office. This part of the world is full of rubber trees, so it made sense for us to set up here. The air is often damp, especially during the monsoon, and the smell of raw rubber is something you just get used to after a couple of days. Our facility is pretty basic. We have the equipment we need to process the latex, and not much else. It’s a lot of physical work, moving sheets around and making sure they dry properly. We don’t have an HR department or a PR team. It’s just a group of us who know the trade. Some of the guys have been working with rubber since they were teenagers. We watch the weather closely because rain can really mess up the drying process. The office is just a small room with a desk, a couple of chairs, and a calendar on the wall. We keep our records in big ledgers mostly, though we have a computer for the essentials. It’s a quiet life out here in Vazhoor. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just processing rubber to sell to the bigger manufacturers. It’s steady work, and it keeps us busy through the seasons. We don't put out brochures or go to big trade shows. People who need rubber know where we are, and they know we do a decent job every time they come to see us.
