Vembanad Rubbers

Our place is Vembanad Rubbers, located at V/69 in Cherpunkal. If you are looking for us, we are right near the post office area. It’s a local operation, very much tied to the area here. We deal with rubber, as the name suggests. Most of our days are spent checking the quality of the sheets or the raw materials coming in. It’s hard work and it can get pretty messy, especially during the rainy season. The smell of rubber is something you just get used to after the first day. We don't have a big office building; it’s more of a functional space where we can store things and handle the paperwork. We work with a lot of local growers and small-scale suppliers from around the Cherpunkal area. Everyone around here knows everyone else, so we don't really need to do much advertising. We just try to be fair and do a decent day's work. The building itself is simple, nothing fancy. We have a few sheds for the storage and a small area where we keep the books. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just have to wait it out or work by the windows. It’s just the way things go here. We aren't a big corporation with offices in the city. We are right here on the ground, doing what we know how to do best.
