Acc Ltd

Our place is tucked away in Peroor, which is a quiet part of Kottayam. The building has that long name, Pulikkattumadathil, and it’s been the base for Acc Ltd in this area for a good bit of time. If you come by during the monsoon, you’ll see how green everything gets around here, though the dampness makes the files smell a bit musty. It’s a simple office. We have a few wooden desks and some old chairs that creak when you sit down. The Kerala weather means we are usually dealing with either heavy rain or a lot of humidity, so we keep the windows open mostly to let the breeze in. There isn't a lot of noise from big city traffic, just the sound of occasional buses passing by on the main road and birds in the trees outside. We spend our days tracking deliveries and talking to people who come by with questions. It isn't a high-pressure environment, but there is always something that needs fixing or a stack of papers that needs sorting. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, so we just sit on the porch and wait it out. It’s a very local way of working. We know the neighbors and the postman stops by for a chat almost every day. It feels more like a community spot than a corporate office, which is how we like it.
