Working at A-20 in the Mandi Yard of Ramganj Mandi is a very loud and busy experience. If you’ve ever been to a major trading yard, you know how it is—there are people shouting prices, trucks constantly moving, and laborers carrying heavy sacks on their shoulders. Sawla Traders is right in the middle of all that action. We don't have a quiet office with air conditioning. Our space is more like an open shed where we can see everything going on in the yard. The floor is usually covered in bits of grain or dust, and we spend a lot of our time just checking the quality of what’s coming in. Ramganj Mandi is famous for certain crops, and being here means we are right at the source. It’s a tough environment, and you have to be ready to work in the sun or the rain depending on the season. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or brochures to give people. Most of our business happens through word of mouth and being here every single day. We’ve been at this spot for quite a while, and we know the other traders well. It’s a community built on hard work and being present. We just take each day as it comes and try to keep our records straight. There’s not much more to it than that, just getting the job done before the sun goes down and the yard finally gets a bit of rest for the night.
