Saree Temple

Saree Temple is located right opposite the petrol pump in Gumanpura. You can’t miss it if you’re filling up your tank. The location is convenient because there’s always people moving around, though the noise from the traffic and the smell of fuel can be a bit much sometimes. I’ve been working here since the shop opened. It’s just a standard storefront with a large glass window that we use to show off a few of the nicer pieces. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves packed with sarees. We try to keep things tidy, but when it gets busy, fabrics end up draped over everything. We don't have a big team, so it's usually just me and a helper. We spend a lot of time unrolling the cloth so customers can see how it drapes. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don't bother with any corporate stuff or polished speeches. If a saree looks good on someone, we tell them. If it doesn't, we suggest they look at another one. It’s as simple as that. The stools we have are a bit old and they creak when you sit on them, but they do the job. We don't really have a grand story to tell. We're just a local shop in Gumanpura where you can come and look at sarees without any fuss.
