Sara International School

Our school is over in Basant Vihar, right on the main road. If you find the Guru Dawara at Kansua Chourha, you’ll see us right across from it. Kota is a very busy place, especially with all the students everywhere, but our part of Basant Vihar is a bit more settled. The building is easy to find. I’ve been working here for a few seasons now, and the heat in the summer is the hardest part. We have fans in every room, but they just push the warm air around. The classrooms are basic with standard desks and chairs. We don’t have any of those fancy high-tech gadgets you see in movies. It’s mostly just chalk and talk. The students are generally well-behaved, though they get loud when the bell rings for the end of the day. The staff room is where we keep all the registers and old files. It’s a bit cramped, but we make it work. Sometimes we stand out by the gate just to watch the traffic go by during our break. The road out front is always busy with cycles and autos. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s just a group of us trying to run a decent school for the local families. We fix what breaks and keep the lessons moving forward. It’s a simple, everyday kind of place where we all know each other’s names.
