Raja Singh

Raja Singh is located at shop number 67 in the New Motor Market. If you have ever been to the market, you know it is a place of grease, loud noises, and a lot of people yelling over engines. Our spot is just one of many, but we have been in this exact stall for quite a while. The floor is stained with oil and there are spare parts stacked up in every corner. It is not a place for someone who minds getting their hands dirty. We spend our entire day working on whatever comes in, whether it is a small engine or something bigger. There is always a smell of petrol and old metal in the air. We do not have a waiting room with magazines or coffee. Most people just stand around and talk while we work. It is a rough environment but we are used to it. The market has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of that. We work until the light fades and then we lock up the shutters. Some days are better than others, depending on what kind of problems we have to fix. We do not use fancy diagnostic machines, just our ears and some old tools that have lasted us for years. It is hard work, but it is what we do. People know where to find us when their motors start acting up.
