Poddar Industries

Down here on DCM Road, things stay pretty consistent. Poddar Industries is tucked into E-4 in the Industrial Estate, and if you’ve ever been around this part of town, you know how it gets with the traffic and the heat. We’ve got a small team here. Most of us have been around for a while, so we know the routine. It’s not a place with shiny glass walls or anything like that. It’s a workplace where things get made and moved. We spend our mornings checking orders and making sure the machines are doing what they’re supposed to do. There is always a lot of clanging and banging going on, but that’s just the sound of things getting done. We don’t really have a big reception area or anything. Usually, someone just pops their head out of the office if a visitor shows up. We deal with a lot of regular people who know exactly what they need, so we don't have to explain much. The day usually ends with us locking up the gates and heading out into the evening traffic. It's a simple life. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure we don't fall behind. DCM Road can be a bit of a mess during rush hour, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. We’re just local people running a shop in an industrial estate, nothing more.
