Parampara Sarees

Our shop is located at 94-95 in the New Cloth Market on Station Road. Being near the station means there’s always a lot of noise and people moving about. It’s a good spot for a saree shop because people come from the surrounding villages and towns by train. They walk over to the market to do their shopping before heading back home. We have a wide range of sarees. We have the simple ones that don't cost much and then we have the more ornate ones for big functions. We've been at this location for a good while. The market is full of competition, so we just focus on what we're doing. We keep our shelves packed. Sometimes it's hard to find a place to sit because there are so many bundles of cloth everywhere. We don't use fancy labels or high-end lighting. We have regular tube lights and some benches for people to sit on while we show them the sarees. It can get dusty because of the road, so we're always wiping things down. My uncle started this place, and we've kept it going the same way he did. We don't see a reason to change much. People know what to expect when they come to Parampara Sarees. We just show the fabric, tell the price, and let the customer decide. It is a busy life but we are used to the noise of the station.
