Om Kothari Institute Of T T College

We are located at A-1 in the Special I.P.I.A. area, right on Jhalawar Road here in Kota. Most people think of Kota as just a place for coaching centers, but we’ve been here focusing on teacher training for quite a while. The institute isn't right in the middle of the city noise, which is nice for our students. We have a decent-sized building where people from all over Rajasthan come to get their degrees in education. It’s a very practical sort of place. You’ll see students walking around with charts and models they’ve made for their teaching practice. Our rooms are filled with old-fashioned desks and plenty of books. We don’t really use big words to describe what we do; we just help people become teachers. The staff here has been around for years, so we know most of the local shopkeepers and the rickshaw drivers who bring our students to the gates. There’s a lot of paperwork involved in running a college, and you’ll often find us sitting in the office sorting through files or talking to students about their exams. It’s a busy life, especially during admission season. The canteen is where most of the socializing happens over a quick lunch. We don't pretend to be anything we aren't. We are just a local college in Kota trying to help the next generation of teachers get their start. It’s a routine that works for us and the people who study here.
