Nls Institute

The NLS Institute is tucked away in the Patanpole area of Kota, specifically at Plot No-74 in Bindi Ka Chowk. This is part of the older city, so the streets are narrow and always filled with people, bikes, and the smell of local food from the nearby shops. Sarai Ka Sathan is the general neighborhood, and it has a very traditional feel to it. Our building isn't a massive complex; it is more of a local spot that fits right into the busy chowk. Finding us for the first time might be a bit tricky if you are not used to the layout of Patanpole, but most people just ask a shopkeeper nearby for directions. The institute itself consists of a few rooms where students come to study and learn their subjects. It is usually quite lively because Bindi Ka Chowk is never really quiet, even in the evenings. We have simple desks and chairs, and the walls are mostly plain without much decoration. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where everyone goes during their breaks to talk. Kota is a city known for education, but this side of town is much more about the old community than the big new hostels you see elsewhere. We deal with the usual things like narrow parking and the occasional power cut. It is a very grounded place to be. We do not have a big reception area.
