Nipuna Academy

Down in Chhabra Talwandi, you will find us at Nipuna Academy. It is a quiet enough spot most of the time, though when classes let out, the street gets a bit hectic. We have been helping students with their studies for a while now. It started small and it stays that way because we like to keep things manageable. There are a few rooms where we sit down and go over lessons. It is not like those giant institutes you see on the main roads. We mostly deal with local kids who need a bit of extra help with their schoolwork or exams. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud and the chairs might creak, but the learning happens anyway. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. If you need us, you just walk in and ask. We talk to parents about how their children are doing without any of that complicated talk. Just simple facts. The kids work hard, and we try to keep up with them. It gets hot in the afternoons, so we keep the water cooler filled. We are just a group of people who enjoy teaching and wanted to do it in our own neighborhood. Every day is a bit different depending on who shows up, but we stay consistent with the books and the blackboard. That is our life here in Talwandi.
