M S Khanna Motors

Rampura Bazar is a busy place, and at number 79, M S Khanna Motors is right in the middle of all that chaos. Our shop is filled with parts for motors, and honestly, it is a bit of a maze if you do not know where you are looking. There are boxes of gaskets, pistons, and spark plugs stacked up to the ceiling. The floor usually has a few oil spots that never quite come out, no matter how much we scrub. We have been here long enough that we can find a specific bolt just by feeling around the shelf. Customers come in with greasy hands holding a broken part, asking if we have a match for it. Most of the time we do, but sometimes we have to go digging in the back. It gets pretty hot in the bazaar during the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fan running at full speed all day. It makes a clicking sound that we have just stopped noticing. We are not really into the modern way of doing things with fancy computers and bright lights. We prefer our old ledgers and the wooden counter where we have served thousands of people over the years. It is a loud, messy, and busy life here, but we would not really know what else to do with ourselves. Every day is about getting someone’s engine running again so they can get back to their work.
