Ambey Auto Traders

At Ambey Auto Traders, we sit right in the middle of Shopping Centre 61. It is a busy spot where people are always coming and going, looking for parts for their cars or bikes. Our front window is usually covered in dust from the road, but we try to wipe it down every few days. Inside, the walls are lined with shelves that go all the way to the top. We deal with a lot of different traders and mechanics who are looking for items in bulk. Sometimes a truck pulls up right in front to offload crates, and we have to scramble to make room inside. It is a lot of physical work, lifting boxes and checking lists. We do not have a fancy computer system; we mostly write things down in a big ledger that is getting pretty tattered. The tea break is the highlight of the afternoon when we can finally sit down for ten minutes. The sun hits the shop front pretty hard in the evenings, so we pull the shade down halfway. It has been this way for years, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around here by name. We just focus on keeping the stock moving and making sure the orders are correct. It is a straightforward business, nothing more, nothing less. We like being part of the noise and energy of the shopping center.
