Aman Motors

We have been running Aman Motors on Chhawani Road in the Ramchandrapura area for quite some time now. It is just a regular local shop where we deal with all kinds of vehicle problems. Most of our days start pretty early when the sun is just coming up and we have to pull up the heavy metal shutters. The shop usually smells like old oil and rubber, which is something you just get used to after a week of working here. We have a few old chairs out front for people to sit on while they wait for their bikes or cars to be looked at. Chhawani Road is always noisy with traffic, so we often have to shout a bit to be heard over the engines. We don't have any fancy diagnostic machines or anything like that. We mostly rely on what we can see and hear when the engine is running. Sometimes the work is really messy and we end up covered in grease by noon, but that is just part of the job. It’s a small place and we have a lot of tools hanging on the walls in no particular order. We know where everything is though. People from around Ramchandrapura stop by often, sometimes just to ask a question about a weird noise their car is making. We don't do anything special here, just the basic mechanical work that needs to get done so people can keep driving. It is a simple way of making a living and we just take it one day at a time.
