Khalsa Enterprises

If you’ve been to Indira Market, you might have passed by our place at number 230. We are Khalsa Enterprises, and we’ve been here for a while now. It is a busy market and we are just one of the many shops trying to keep things moving. We don't have a big corporate team or a marketing department. It is just us behind the counter, dealing with whoever walks through the door. We handle a variety of things depending on what our customers need that day. Being in a place like Indira Market means you get to know the regulars and you see a lot of new faces too. The shop is a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of stock on hand, but we know where everything is. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny signs. Most of our customers come in because they were passing by or someone told them we were here. It is a simple way of doing business, but it has worked for us. We open up in the morning, sort out the inventory, and talk to people all day. Sometimes it gets a bit hectic when several people want things at once, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just trying to provide what people are looking for in the market. It’s a honest day’s work and we are happy to be part of the local community here.
