Kalash Commerce Institute

We are over in Vallabh Nagar, Ballabhari. This is where we help students with their commerce subjects. It’s mostly just rows of desks and a big blackboard that never gets completely clean. You can always find chalk dust on the floor. We spend our afternoons going over accounts and math problems. The building is a bit plain, but it works for what we need. Students bring their own notebooks and we sit together for a few hours. It gets a bit stuffy in the summer, so we keep the windows open. We don't have any fancy technology here, just books and pens. Sometimes we run out of ink or the lights flicker. It’s a quiet street usually, which is good for studying. People in Vallabh Nagar know where we are because of the sign near the door. We aren't a big school, just a small institute for local kids. Most of the students come from the nearby houses. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything. We just open up in the morning and wait for the classes to start. It’s hard work for the kids, especially during exam time. We keep some extra chairs in the back for when it gets crowded. It’s just a place to study and get through the syllabus. That is all there is to it at Kalash. We try to keep things focused on the books and the lessons.
