Right by the Mama Bhanja Circle on Jhalawar Road in Kota, you’ll find us. Jhalawar Hospital and Medical College is a pretty big place because we have students here too. It’s always buzzing with energy because of the young people learning the ropes. You’ll see them in their white coats walking around with notebooks, following the senior doctors during rounds. It makes for a very active environment. The hospital part stays busy with people coming in from all over Kota and the surrounding areas. Because we are near Mama Bhanja Circle, it’s a landmark that most people can find without much trouble. The building has different wings for different things, and sometimes it can feel like a bit of a maze if you aren't used to walking through here. We have a lot of beds and the wards are usually full. It’s a lot of work to keep everything moving, from the laundry to the cafeteria and the actual medical care. We don’t have a lot of time for fancy talk; we just try to manage the flow of patients and students every single day. The equipment gets used a lot, so we are always maintaining something or other. It’s a practical place for learning and for getting treated. It’s been a staple of Jhalawar Road for quite a while now and we just keep going. It is loud and busy, but it is our life.
