Heena Sharngar & Ganral Store

Heena Sharngar & Ganral Store is located on Vigyan Nagar Main Road in Kota. We are at Shop No-2, right near Kohinoor Medical. It’s a busy street with lots of shops nearby, so there’s always a crowd. We sell a mix of things, from general household items to small beauty products that the ladies in the neighborhood look for. The shop name is a bit of a mouthful, but people just call us Heena’s place. It’s not a very big shop, so we have to use every inch of space on the walls and even the ceiling to hang stuff up. Kota is famous for its students, and we see a lot of them coming in to buy pens, snacks, or toiletries. The weather here in Rajasthan gets very hot, so we usually have a fan going at full speed behind the counter. I do most of the work myself, from opening the shutters in the morning to counting the cash at night. Sometimes the stock doesn't arrive on time, which is frustrating, but we make do with what we have. It’s a practical little shop, not some high-end boutique. We just want to make sure the locals can find what they need without having to travel too far. If the shop is a bit cluttered, it’s only because we are trying to keep enough variety for everyone. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more. The noise from the main road is constant but we are used to it.
