Hadoti Shokar

We are over at Chhawani Road 578. The name of the shop is Hadoti Shokar because that is exactly what we do. We work on shock absorbers for all kinds of vehicles, mostly two-wheelers. The roads around here can be quite rough, so people are always coming in because their bikes feel too bumpy or they hear a clicking sound. We take the shockers apart, clean the springs, change the oil, and put them back together. It is messy work and there is always oil on the floor. We have a big heavy bench where we do all the hammering and fixing. My clothes usually have black spots on them by lunchtime. We don't have a big waiting room or anything. Customers just park their bikes outside on the road and wait or come back later in the afternoon. Sometimes we have to tell them the parts are too worn out and they need to buy new ones from the market. We've seen every kind of suspension problem you can imagine over the years. It’s a small shop with a lot of iron tools and spare parts hanging from the walls. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us through word of mouth when their ride gets too uncomfortable. It is just me and a helper most days, and we stay busy from morning till the sun goes down. It's just grease and hard work every day.
