Jaina Selection

Our shop is right on Subhash Colony Road, directly across from the Durga Mandir. It's a landmark that most people know in Kherli Phatak. Jaina Selection is where we keep different kinds of clothes and fabrics. It’s not a big department store, just a local spot. We’ve been here for years. You can see the temple from our front door. It gets quite busy during the prayer times and festivals. We have racks and shelves full of stuff. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped because we try to have a good variety for everyone. People come in looking for something specific to wear for an event or just everyday clothes. We don't have a marketing team. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for customers to come in. My family helps run the place. We talk to everyone who comes in. Some people stay and talk for a long time before buying anything. The road outside is always full of bikes and people walking. It can be a bit dusty, but that’s just how the area is. We keep the floor swept and the clothes folded as best as we can. It’s a simple way to make a living. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or special deals. If you like something and it fits, you buy it. That is how we have always done our business on this road.
