E. S. I. Hospital

The E. S. I. Hospital on Jhalawar Road is a place that never really sleeps. If you know Kota, you know how busy Jhalawar Road gets with all the trucks and traffic. Our hospital is right there in the middle of it. We mostly serve the workers and employees who are part of the ESI scheme. Every morning, there is a queue of people waiting for the doors to open, holding their cards and paperwork. We have people coming in from the factories and workshops all over the district. Sometimes the wait times can be long, and the fans in the waiting area have to work overtime in the heat, but we do our best to see everyone. The staff knows the routine inside out. We deal with a lot of paperwork to make sure the benefits are processed correctly for the workers. It’s a practical, gritty kind of place that provides a necessary service for the labor force in this industrial area. It’s been here a long time and keeps running no matter how busy the road outside gets.
