Aakarshan

Aakarshan is located in the basement below the Mochi showroom at No. 50 in E Block on Gaushala Road. It’s a bit of an unusual spot since you have to go downstairs to find us, but it stays cool down there. We deal with various items, mostly clothes and things people wear for special days. The space isn't huge, so we have to be careful about how we stack the boxes and display the goods. It gets busy during the festive months and then it is a bit quieter in the summer. We have a few lights to keep the place bright since there aren't any windows. We aren't a big chain store. It’s just a small shop where we know most of the people who walk in. Sometimes we sit on the stools and drink tea while waiting for customers. The Gaushala Road area is always full of shoppers, so there is plenty to see outside. We try to keep the shop tidy, but it's hard when you have a lot of stock coming in. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. We just put things out so people can see them. It’s a practical way to run a business. If you are looking for us, just look for the Mochi sign and head down to the basement. We are usually there all day until late evening, just taking care of the shop and the people.
